Richard J. Dabrowa, age 74, formerly of Wheeling, WV, passed away Wednesday evening, December 6, 2017 in Avalon Springs Nursing Center, Mercer.
He was born in Wheeling, WV on November 16, 1943 to Frank and Mary (Burtula) Dabrowa. He was a graduate of McKinley (WV) High School and had been employed for over thirty years with Power City Heating and Plumbing in Wheeling, WV, where he worked as a Field Supervisor.
He was a member of Polish American People and his hobbies included, hunting, fishing and canning.
Survivors include two daughters; Michelle L. Shelly Patterson and her husband Randy of Mercer and Anita A. Thomas of Wheeling, WV, two sisters; Irene Logston and Theresa Helay, both of West Virginia, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; Walter “Red” Dabrowa and two sisters; Bernadine Clatterbuck and Jeannie Conner.
A private family funeral service will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville, with Rev. V. David Foradori, Pastor of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, officiating. There will be no public visitation. Burial will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery.
